Sura LTD

Production is located in the industrial zone of Dnipro on a site of about 0.75 hectares. The secured site holds two industrial buildings: a finished-goods warehouse and a production shop. 

The company runs its own facility for cold-formed tube production, with the necessary tube-rolling and drawing equipment and the means for heat treatment and final finishing. A closed industrial cycle for seamless cold-formed metal tubes, to both national and international standards: GOST, TU, OST, DSTU, ASTM, DIN. 

Seamless tubes are in industrial production across diameters of 0,55-45 mm, with wall thickness 0,05-5,00 mm, length up to 4000 mm.

Materials range from commercially pure metals (titanium, tantalum, niobium, nickel, aluminium, copper, molybdenum) to alloys and steels (314, 310, 321, 316, ХН78Т, ХН60ВТ, 29 НК-ВИ, ПТ7М, G26, G29). 

Between 50 and 200 tonnes of tube in a wide range of steel and alloy grades are held in stock at all times.

Over the past ten years the team's efforts have gone into developing and introducing research-intensive new technologies, always within environmental requirements. Five of them are genuinely reaching industrial use: 

1. Anode grounding electrodes made from environmentally clean materials, for the electrochemical protection of oil and gas pipelines, metal structures and installations in soil and water.
2. The Emulgator - a wet scrubber for industrial gases and smoke, working on mass-transfer technology.
3. Development of new materials for thermal neutron absorption.
4. A fundamentally new and physically grounded method for determining the mechanical properties of metals, giving more accurate and more objective predictions of in-service reliability across a wide range of strain rates.
5. A manufacturing technology for extra-thin-wall tubes in commercially pure metals, for medical use.
